Assignment 2: Film Pitch
Our production task for Assignment 2 involves coming up with our own film promotion for an original movie that we have created.

Title and tagline:  At a Distance - The adventure he never thought about 

Genre (and sub-genre if applicable):  Adventure / thriller

Logline – one sentence that sums up the film and hooks people in (25 words or fewer):
One boy and his best friends get kidnapped, as they escape their predator they become lost in a big city, but where on Earth are they?

Other successful films that are similar to yours:  life of pie / maze runner 1-2

Narrative structure – what happens in the film and in what order (max 100 words):
There’s a boy who had a really good day at school with his friends and as soon as it comes to the end of the day him and his mates get kidnapped by a few men who put them into a van and take them away. Throughout the journey the men who kidnapped them ask them for everything they have but they refuse to give them anything. Afterwards the men take out the boy and his friends out of the van and they arrive at a unknown city that they don’t even know about and then stands a very tall broken old building which they’re taken into and then after they are taken into it and they stay there for a really long time so luckily they find a way to run away but they have gone through something….

Hero/heroine, their desires, the conflicts they encounter etc.:  
Boy and his friends – who have run away from few kidnappers and are in a really big city which they don’t know anything about and are stuck between lots of situations. As their journey continues they face lots of problems.

Costume/props that the hero requires (for film poster photo-shoot):   Male stars in a group and a single boy in a scruffy look with their school uniforms on


Target audience for your film (age, gender, social class, interests etc.):

The target Audience for my film  is for basically everyone and its especially made for 50% male and 50% female.
